Thread: uploading CSS won't show

I have the following problem and I hope someone can help me:

I’ve adjusted an existing a webpage in Dreamweaver that I created myself. When I preview it in either Chrome, Explorer and Firefox, everything works fine.

However, when I upload the HTML and CSS file (Filezilla), the adjustments made in the CSS won’t show! I’ve checked the uploaded file by downloading it again, and it's the right version of the file. When I check the source of the uploaded webpage, I can see that the CSS is still the old one, even though I have uploaded the new version. The HTML actually does work with the newly made adjustments.

Can someone please help me with this?! I’ve been managing the website for a year now and I haven’t had this problem before.

Check the CSS file and made sure there are no conflicting styles. Also view the source of the page and make sure that the page is linking to the CSS file correctly.

maybe it's filezilla problem.. did you try to upload using other ftp apps.. cuteftp maybe..
