There are so many problems, you cant blame only on ram, it may be virus problem or which processor you are using. I think you need to read the window 8 guidelines after that take some decision.

Window 8 was just been released. You should expect that every software or hardware that is released are more likely to get buggy. Some companies see release periods as extended product testing. Wait for a number months until most people are happy with Windows 8.

Perhaps your laptop's software and hardware are not up-to-date. Check with your local computer expert to know how your laptop can meet the requirements of Windows 8.

Dear increase your laptop configuration because 1gb ram is not enough for Windows 8, you have to increase it around 4gb.

1GB isn't the speed of the ram... that's stated in how many mhz it is. 1GB ram isn't standard these days, i'd look at upgrading it to atleast 4gb depending what you use your laptop for and always check what speed of ram your motherboard can take and what it currently is using at the moment, it's best to match the new ram with what you have.

I think the problem is that your RAM is too low for window 8, minimum 4 GB ram is required for window 8 to work perfectly.

If you have the old processor then it also may be the reason... And of course 1GB RAM is not enough.. And then your laptop may have virus issues...

I agree with you that window 8 is new Microsoft operating system technology so I think 1 GB RAM is not enough for window 8, then first of all you should add minimum 4GB RAM in your PC or laptop.

Change your laptop RAM because windows 8 needs 4 GB RAM to run properly. If your laptop still slow after changing your RAM then you need to consult " Windows Tech Support " team member for solving your problem.
