World first computer virus called Elk Cloner on an Apple II Computer.

Ok, thanks for that share but believe me its not really necessary.

Apple Viruses 1, 2, and 3 are some of the first viruses “in the wild,” or in the public domain. Found on the Apple II operating system, the viruses spread through Texas A&M via pirated computer games.

that is good information but sometimes your computer is infected by virus no matter how much you are concious about it. So some common types of viruses are:

As far as I know, noone has written a virus that can affect an Apple system.

You are right in 1982 the first Computer virus comes in existence, Elk Cloner on Apple II computer...

You should have posted some more info about it.

I think it was the Morris Worm created by a son of a Computer Scientist. Check it out.. That was the basis of all the viruses and internet worms then including melissa, love bug, brontok, etc..
