There are other types of computer hardware as well. For example, the CPU processes and manages information and can be called as the brain of a computer. Then there is the internal bus that connects the motherboard to the video and the sound cards, and the PCI bus that connects the hardware devices to the computer. The northbridge and the southbridge form the core logic chipsets, which control the exchange of information between the hard disk and the computer. The northbridge connects the southbridge to the computer, and they both determine how fast the system can access memory. The external bus is controlled by either the southbridge or the PCI bus. The chipset is used for communication between the CPU and the memory.

Many type of computer like moniter ,cpu,keyboard,mouse , speaker, etc ..

Computer hardware means which have weight,can be seen, can be touched and sensed.various types of hardwares are used in computer or with computer like motherboard, hard disk, RAM, ROM etc are the hardwares which are used in computer and moniter, keyboard,mouse, pen drive are some hardwares used with computer.

That's really a good thread with have more nice replays.I think a lot of type of computer hardware like moniter ,cpu,keyboard,mouse , speaker,HDD,CD ROM,RAM,Mother bord.....Etc.

There are many hardware devices in computer we categorized them as
Input devices, Output devices, communication devices, network devices, processing devices and storage devices.

These are main parts of computer hardware:
CPU
Moniter
Key board
Mouse

Phones have less memory space but computer has large space and you can download everything in computer but not in phones only small ones.

New Hardware devices introduces day to day because IT progress increasing.
