Before Reading this article I don't know about the Colocation center.And after reading this I know the uses of colocation Data center.by using this I can improve the work ability of our staff.

It was hard for me too differentiate. But this is good to know this!

We had a Colocation before and now we are using dedicated servers from larger companies. The bad thing about the Colocation is that anything goes wrong with the server, you will have to travel to the location and have it fixed. Since, its other people office mostly, you will be limited in many scenarios, some they don't allow you to check your servers on weekends for example.

Data Center is just like warehouse of tons of GB memory space where data is store and Colocation center is the data center which is used for providing space on rent. Data Center is the subset of Data warehouse. Data Center collect the Data from various option like websites, manual entries, emails etc. Than after apply algorithm and filter it send to Data warehouse where it get collect for future use.

OP has mentioned the benefits. As for disadvantages, many of colocation providers won't give you 24 hours access unless if you pay more. Imagine it is Friday 6 PM and your server goes down. You will need to be on top of the server and have it fixed. Next thing you know is that you can't access the server until Monday. Ooops, it's long weekend, so it will be Tuesday. Server down for 4 days = loose your ranking in search engines and ultimate lost is the money you needed to pay for the colocation ok ok, we don't have to be this negative, but just I'm saying!
