Clickbank Failure Stories
All the time we see threads titled "Clickbank Success Stories" across almost every forum on the web. But what about the other side of the coin. Clickbank Failure Stories. Have you tried Clickbank and failed, then post your story here. Who knows maybe someone can then spot what you are doing wrong and can provide tips/advice to turn your failure into a success.

Clickbank was the first thing I explored when I first got into IM. Of course I had no clue how to rank on Google, I knew nothing. My "landing pages" were hosted on Blogger and were just awful. I've come a long way since then and looking back I could now do a lot better and probably earn a small income from ClickBank. It has been something I've wanted to try again but I just don't have the time. Maybe in the future I will try CB again and see how well it serves me.

WEll I am just starting out and have links to some books on ClickBank.... not a bit of luck so far.. I guess I would have to have a better website. Really it only applies to a small group of the marketplace as not everyone buys into those ebooks... even though some seem very cheap.. but what is the content like is another story...

I have been with CB for over 5 years now. i started out with horrible landing pages and horrible content but did make money. I then got a Senior Posistion at a large firm and had to stop IM but now am trying to get back in. We will see what happens!

I am not going to get into a full blown strategy here but here is a bit of advice I can offer from experience of Clickbank failure.
Avoid trying to sell a clickbank product by using the sales page orany of the sales material that you may get as an affiliate. That generic strategy is very unlikely to work, especially with very popular products as you are competing against everyone else with the same sales letters etc.
Instead...Buy the product, test the product, write a report with original content discussing the pros and cons, the good and bad, alternatives on the market etc. Use screen shots that help explain points, you could go the extra mile and make a video using screen capture software to improve the reader experience even further. In short create something that is useful to someone who is thinking about buying the product.
Yes, more work is needed, but you have to earn a commission, and so do the product creators too. You must stand out from the crowd. You then go on to promoting your report/review but there is plenty of info on this in other sections of tis forum.Dan Thorley is a contributor at WhatBizOpp, an online resource which informs people on ways to earn money.

This is exactly what I do and when I started this technique, sales quadroopled in the first month. People love honest and if you can show them you used the product by showing proof you actually have the product (screen shots, videos and so on) you bet your butt you will get more sales.
I always put on my page "All other affiliates dont even use the product so why listen to them?" And then they email and ask what that is about so i explain and they are like, well that sucks! LOL
