Might not be a bad idea at all. Does anyone know how Google is responding to this badge on blogs? I ask because I know the engine is crawling blogs for fresh content so how is it registering the static object of the Facebook profile badge?

Adding a fan page badge on your site is a great way to get your site's visitor to follow you on Facebook.
