I've read so many varying bits of advice on this. What is the best number of words to have in a blog post?

There is no specific number of words or letters in a blog post that should be observed, what really matters is that you will be able to deliver an original content made by you completely saying out what it is trying to say. whether it is to educate the masses or to share some information... the point is as long as you deliver the message, it doesn't matter if the content is long or short...

That depends on topic. Normally I would say around 300-500 words for gadgets, technology and health related blog post.

My blog usually takes 200-300 per post.
I think that is enough, but if you want to post more or less, it's up to you, it's your blog, isn't it?

There is no minimum requirements on the number of words you are posting in your blog..Just make sure that is fresh, unique, not copied from others and the thought of your post is complete..

There is no hard and fast rule about blog posts length, you can write as long as you can just make sure that the post is very attractive for you to get traffic.

It is quite difficult to say any number but I think 250-300 words post is good for blogs. We can use links in these posts also.
