Thread: .Net Framework query

Hi there,

I recently started to learn .net programming.I tried to install visual studio 2010 but I was not able to install.One of my friend told that it must be .net framework error and u must install latest .net framework 4.0 but when I installed its still giving fatal error.Can anyone tell me why this error is coming and what is the solution.Previously I got error that this installation requires service pack 3.So i installed SP3.and now this error.Please help guys

visual studio installation automatically installs .net if you don't have that installed.
you gotta get us the error details to be able to help.

well, thanks for the help.One of my friend's classes sir told that we should install earlier version of framework first and then install the latest version.Like we need to first install 2.0 inorder to install 3.5.

Yes try this also. Install 2.0 then upgrate your .net framework with 3.5
