Amazon gives affiliates a blow
Amazon has announced it will no longer pay affiliate commissions to affiliates that use pay-per-click programs on search engines to get traffic to amazon.com pages with affiliate id on the url! This policy would apply to amazon.com, amazon.ca, and endless.com
This new policy would although allow affiliates use ppc to get traffic to their own amazon affiliate websites; they just can't use ppc to directly link to Amazon pages.
This is a real blow on the earnings of many affiliates.Free Classified Ads & BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL NETWORK

I would think they have done this so they can advertise their own products/servers via PPC.

Wow, im actually very surprised by this. I hope this doesn't eventually lead amazon to stop their affiliate program. I don't know why they would ever want to do that.
