Make a really good quality website or blog that attracts loads of visitors. They will be grateful and will trust you if you provide them with quality content, and so will be more likely to buy from your site.

I recommend using Amazon for small niche sites selling only a few products. These are easy to produce and you can really make them high quality for the keywords you are targeting.

I personally like Amazon because everyone trusts them making it easier to make commissions.

- Go for products which are about $300, so you get good commision
- 4-5 star items
- 10+ reviews which tells you it sells
- check competitors with google dont go for something which has 500,000+ results
- use SEO Quake with firefox to check competitors PR and backlinks and dont go for something which has competitors PR at 4+ and 50+ backlinks if you build a good review around such a product then build your backlinks you will get there in the end.

I forgot to mention the product or keyword you use check it with google keyword tool and make sure you get 1500 searches a month with exact results on.

The biggest problem with using Amazon affiliate is that Google is cracking down on Amazon niche sites since the Panda update. Several prominent affiliates have already verified that their search engine rankings have dropped considerably for sites with direct Amazon links on them. Best thing to do is always cloak your amazon links.

Yeah cloaking is a good idea, if you are using wordpress, GoCodes is a good plugin to use to do this, and its very simple to use

1) Choose some really nice product, not a crappy one.
2) Make a good, quality website. This includes : Content, Web Design, Typography, Page Load Speed, etc...

3) Adwords.

I find it harder to write about enjoyable and interesting things and still be able to earn money with Amazon. I've really not had much of any success with it.

Has anyone had success with the Amazon contextual ads?

I am having trouble myself cant seem to produce a regular income from it. Maybe its time a try small one product sites instead of the bigger ones, any views on this?
