Thread: YouTube Banned in Bangladesh

The Bangladesh government banned some websites including the video-sharing site YouTube after an audio published on those sites from a from a leaked conversation between high-level army officers and Prime Minister of the country Sheikh Hasina during a deadly border guard revolt.

The audio includes officers apparently yelling at the premier for her handling of the mutiny, in which at least 74 people -- 56 of whom were senior military men -- were killed.

Several sites believed to be hosting the leaked material have been banned, including YouTube and esnips.com.

Thats not democracy That audio supposed to be top secret, isnt it?

Some times YouTube is harming our youth. So, if YouTube is banned in Bangladesh, that will be very good decision for our youth society.

?? why site are banned i don't understand now indian govt. is going to banned facebook and google it is not right thing.
it is democracy anyone have right to say truth. it is govt fault that he is not acting properly.

many nations and govt are trying banned the major sites becaz they post all illeagle things about the govt.so they are banned facebook,google,youtube etc.

China has banned Google as they believe in controlling information ..so very true of a communist nation

Countries such as Bangladesh like to control the masses, just like the issue with SOPA we have here in the US now, where the Country of North Korea has their own intra-net, and not internet.

Its not shocking their should be chance for banned other sites also.
