Thread: email address to avoid spam

Did you hear about this weird email provider? The email address ends with @abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvw xyzabcdefg hijk.com

The point of having such a long address is that it will distract spammers because they will think that it's a made up address.

What do you think about it?

Wow, thats hilarious, imagine giving someone your email address or filling out a form somewhere with that kind of ending hahaha.

I dont think thats a good idea, but it will succeed in eding spammish emails if people use it.

some guy in my class once wrote it on the board...and all the students were like wth is this guy trying to do...including the professor

I rather live with spams then this long weird name

I think I will use my short but detailed mails than that one

If you think about it, a person can very easily type that in once and then just copy and paste over and over for spam lol .

Nothing can stop spammers, they will find ways out to make it easy for them

true. even, if we see this email address ending with @abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvw xyzabcdefg hijk.com is a kind of SPAM for me.
